Juhui, we are in the balance of December edition 2018! We say Merci many times !!!
Black and white print: The Zurich start-up blackprint has invented him from the ground up
Everything started with the fund’s original photo slabs from a private collection. Recordings of nameless photographers who skipped their equipment to the devil bridge, the Rigi, or the foot of the angry Vesuv’s in the largest strains, to shoot templates for painters. Over 100 years later, they electrified the multidisciplinary artist couple Patricia Bühler and Anthony Chrétien. These developed technology, know-how and methods to bring the historical subjects on paper. The result is prints of such outstanding quality that the two have determined to provide them to all in the future, who want to have aroused analog or digital black and white data to life. They founded the studio blackprint and prescribed themselves entirely to the revival of black and white printing on sometimes highly unique papers from around the world.www.blackprint.photo
Last winter, we started with the historical Photo Edition “The world 100 years ago.” We include it in the modern age and now launch our first edition Artist (EA) that we produce in our studio in limited small editions of each piece 3 – 7.
A private collection of antique photographs on glass,
which opened the desire to show these 150 year old photographs in a new but coherent manner and therefor in
limited series, has materialized in the self-published project blackprint edition.
The first part of the new edition is available! The Karo has been extended and we are proud to present our new two artists Klaus-Martin Gareis and wonow!
blackprint edition will be present with a/b Books at MoMA PS1 during the New York Art Book Fair, to present our karo editions, karo limited and our latest productions with Klaus-Martin Gareis and Alexander Sporre.
